"I have been designing and producing ceramic objects for over 20 years. In this time I have produced hand built, wheel thrown and sculptural objects over a range of firing temperatures. My principal interest has been in the development of celadon glazes which has lead me to specialise in the stoneware eutectic, reduction atmospheres and porcelain clays. I have exhibited in public galleries and have works held in public collections. I have come to the Monash Short Course Centre to share my knowledge and to teach skills to those who are interested in ceramic art."

" I love the feel of clay, the instant manipulation of clay to produce a piece of work. My focus with my own work is on form and strength. My present interest is in organic round forms constructed with coils, finished with areas of raw clay fired at stoneware.
I started pottery at a young age and fired my first kiln at 12yrs old! I went on to finish a degree at Caulfield, Monash. Then ran my own studio selling my work at markets and galleries.
It was a great honour to be invited to be artist in residence here at Monash Short Courses Center and now I am also teaching. I enjoy helping students reach their creative goals by teaching them sound skills and mentoring them through the design process."
